In the world of interior design and home decor, the choice of materials has a crucial role in defining just how good your wall space can be. When it comes to framing cherished memories and possibly expensive artwork, natural wood picture frames stand out as a timeless and elegant choice.

In this post I'll try and explore the numerous reasons why choosing a natural wooden frame is not only a nod to natures beauty, but also a decision that enhances the overall visual appeal of your living space.

Warmth and authenticity.

A natural wood picture frame exudes warmth and authenticity that synthetic materials no matter how well made struggle to replicate. The unique grain patterns of natural wood add a touch of character and depth to any framed artwork or picture.

Versatility in design

One of the key advantages of natural ward is its versatility, it matters not whether you prefer the classic charm of oak, the rustic lure of pine, or even the modern sophistication of walnut. Natural wooden picture frames come in a variety of options to suit different tastes, interior styles and of course budgets.

Longevity and durability.

Natural wooden frames are renowned for their  longevity and durability. Unlike other synthetic alternatives wooden picture frames not only protect your memories, they can also withstand the test of time ensuring that your cherished memories are beautifully displayed for years to come.

Environmental friendliness.

I think it's fair to say that choosing environmental friendly frames can be described as a sustainable choice, wood as we all know is a renewable source and when responsibly sourced its use in framing contributes to a more environmentally friendly option compared to certain synthetic materials.

Timeless appeal

Natural wood poles this is a timeless appeal that transcends trends. Choosing a wooden picture frame ensures that your framed piece of artwork or picture will remain relevant, stylish and possibly make them an investment in both personal memories and enduring decor.

Whilst I made the conscious decision of using only natural woods for making my picture frames, I firmly believe that these synthetic materials we all use  have a place in the framing world,

I made my choice to use natural woods as I get a great deal of pleasure and satisfaction of seeing the wood moph from virtually a straight plank of wood into something that when oiled, polished and waxed looks very pleasing to the eye and yet at the same time does not detract anything from the picture or artwork that it frames.

The timeless appeal of natural wooden frames make them an excellent investment for anyone looking to elevate the visual aesthetic of their living space.

Embrace the beauty of nature and let your cherished memories shine in the warmth of natural wooden picture frames

 Welcome to Natures Photo Frames

At the foot of the Pennine Hills and in a small workshop I breathe life into wood, turning it into timeless pieces that elevate the beauty of cherished memories. I am Michael and the person  behind bespoke solid oak picture frames that seamlessly blend craftsmanship with artistry.

With a keen eye for detail and a reverence for the natural. beauty of oak, I transform raw materials into picture frames that are not just holders of memories but works of art in themselves. Each piece is a testament to the dedication to precision, with the grain of the oak telling a unique story in every frame.

Inspired by the simplicity and durability of solid oak, I will create picture frames that stand the test of time both in design and quality. The warmth of the wood adds a touch of rustic charm to every photograph or artwork it cradles, making each frame a conversation starter and a focal point in any space.
